Note-book of Anton Chekhov
The book is about a traveling writer, Mr. Koteliansky, who goes to Moscow and meets some influential people while there; one of whom tells him that he must write about the Russian Revolution–and do not say anything bad about it. I'm afraid I can't describe this book like that anymore, but you know the gist of it: Chekhov uses his own experiences to write about the revolution that has happened in Russia. The book is very compelling and challenging. A small-format notebook is a traditional gift for a birthday or a wedding anniversary. It may be a handmade, printed or decorative piece with personal meaning and memory attached to it. A notebook of Anton Chekhov's stories is a particularly meaningful gift, as it can convey the same sense of nostalgia and instant pleasure that the book normally gives an author.
