A love letter to the adventurous women of today, The Argonauts is a powerful and beautifully written memoir that tells the story of Eliza Orzeszko and her partner, artist Harry Charles. A writer and traveller who grew up on a sheep and cattle farm in rural Tasmania, Eliza has always been drawn to stories of people seeking new frontiers. Growing up with an innate curiosity about the world, she moved away from the bank of the river where she was born to study at Yale University. After graduation she travelled through India, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia's red centre, Europe's Eastern Bloc borderlands—exploring humanity for all its humour and complexity.
