How St. Andrew came to Scotland

According to the Bible, St. Andrew was a simple fisherman but lived such a righteous life that became one of the 12 disciple apostles of Jesus Christ. St. Andrew is considered to be the patron saint of Scotland, and his name is honored by locals like no other. The Apostle Andrew has been officially proclaimed a saint in 1314. It happened after the victory of the famous Robert the Bruce at Bannockburn. According to the annals, he was engaged in preaching activities on the Slavic lands and in Greece accepted the crucifixion.
